Sensei Levon started out the day for Xen-Do with a bang! His technique and patience allowed him to get a feel for his opponent, finding weak spots and calculating his movements. During the first round of the fight, Sensei Levon comes out with a four-punch combination sending his opponent’s mouthguard flying and head spinning. The fight was over with a technical knockout, hyping Team Xen-Do up for the rest of the fights.

Sensei Nicolas followed suit with two tough 2-minute rounds in the heavyweight division (over 90KG). His strength and skills lead him to come out on top after a tough fight jam-packed with spinning kicks and left-hooks.

In the midst of the full-contact fights, Senseis Paul, Joe, Patryk, Josh and James fought their way through the competition in the light-continuous fights. Sensei Paul stayed cool, calm and collected throughout his fight to the Gold trophy. His flawless spinning kicks and slips lead him to a unanimous win against his competition. Senseis Joe and James successfully fought their way to the final in their weight category, coming head to head after many fights. They both pushed through the exhaustion, coming out with Gold and Silver trophies in a brotherly fight to the top. Sensei Josh followed with a tough fight, supported by screams from Dai Master Rafael Nieto and the rest of the team, emerging with the Gold trophy. His strength was shown as his opponent fell into the judges on multiple occasions.

Sensei Anthony retained his championship belt and kept his undefeated standing by winning the full-contact under 70KG fight. Up against another incredible fighter, Sensei Anthony had to dig deep and use his strength, technique and heart to ensure his belt remained in the Xen-Do cabinet. The three 2-minute rounds between these fighters were a sight to see!

Sensei Kasheme came out swinging in his full-contact fight! His agility and pure strength were huge assets, sending his competitor to his knees and his hand raised after two rounds. Sensei Patryk was the last of Team Xen-Do to fight. You could see the determination and heart that Sensei Patryk had in his light-continuous fight, pushing his opponent off of the mats, leading him to a huge victory!

With the teachings of Dai Master Rafael Nieto and the encouragement of all Xen-Do Senseis, students and supporters; Team Xen-Do successfully showcased their talent in Spain.
