London to Amsterdam: Help Support Children with Cancer UK and Hospitality Action
I am taking on a bike ride from London to Amsterdam, along with some of my colleagues at Gold Key Media and our friends from the AICR (amicale internationale des sous-directeurs et chefs de reception des grand hotels) and the publishing world. We are raising funds for Children with Cancer UK and Hospitality Action.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Their aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer.
Hospitality Action is the hospitality industry’s charity helping past and present workers of all ages who are in crisis. HA offers financial aid and information and also supports a youth guidance scheme educating on alcohol and drugs misuse.
We will be departing from the Cutty Sark in London on Friday 26th August bright and early at 8:00 am, arriving in Amsterdam during the afternoon of the bank holiday Monday 29th August. In total, we will cover 340 miles over 4 days.
As part of our fundraising activities, we are running a prize draw which includes amazing prizes, such as 7 nights at Tides Boutique Resort on Koh Samui, Thailand, luxury London hotel stays, afternoon tea at the Ritz, a Christopher Ward designer men’s watch and many more. Every £5 you donate gives you one entry into the draw and winners will be drawn after we have completed the ride. Support us on our bike ride and help us raise money by donating here
