Kickboxing Martial Arts Classes for Little Champs

At Xen-Do, we offer specialised classes for children aged 4 to 6 years old. Our classes aim to teach your little ones the fundamentals of kickboxing, while also instilling important life skills such as self-control and discipline.

We understand that safety is paramount when it comes to young children, which is why our classes are led by experienced and qualified Senseis who are committed to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your child.

Help Your Child Reach Their Fully Potential

We have three classes a week available for children aged 4 to 6, with two classes held during the week and one on the weekend. The frequency of attendance will depend on the membership type you choose, and you can find the timetable for your location linked to our website.

Our little champs classes run for 30 minutes and include pad work, practicing basics and combinations, recognising what a stranger or a bully is, and learning the champion’s code. The champion’s code is a set of values that we instil in our students, including respect, self-discipline, and hard work.

We believe that it is essential to get the young students to focus, work on their self-control and discipline, and have fun while doing so. The habits and skills we teach in our classes can be applied to their day-to-day life, helping them develop into balanced individuals.

At the end of each class, we usually end with a fun game that allows the children to interact with one another while practicing their newly learned skills. We believe that learning should be enjoyable and fun, and we aim to make every class an exciting and engaging experience for your child.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early before each class to stretch and get ready for class. Your child will need to bring their full equipment, including a t-shirt, trousers, boots, gloves, and bag.

To monitor your child’s progress, we have grading sessions every five weeks, which take place at the end of their regular lesson. During grading sessions, we evaluate your child’s skills and give them feedback to help them improve further. To participate in grading, your child needs to bring their grading book and homework sheets to each lesson and hand them to their Sensei at the beginning of the class.

If your child is interested in trying out our kickboxing classes, we offer introductory classes that can be booked for this age range. The introductory classes are designed to give your child a taste of what our classes entail in a safe and fun environment.

WORK ON BODY AND MIND

We believe that every child has the potential to be a champion, and our classes aim to unlock that potential by instilling a sense of respect, self-discipline, and hard work in each student. We look forward to helping them grow and develop into well-rounded individuals who are confident, disciplined, and resilient.
